Dear 2010 Puzzlers, Volunteers and Sponsors,All of us associated with The Generation Connection (TGC) would like to thank you for your participation in (86) and support of the Fourth Annual North Florida Crossword Puzzle Tournament. A recurring comment was that this event has become a refreshing addition to the local fundraiser scene. Please support our terrific sponsors—go patronize their businesses and be sure to tell them that TGC sent you.

2010 Results
Four participants mentioned sending their child or grandchild to TGC. Two asked about starting a camp in their own location, three seniors offered their mentor abilities for this and two nonparticipants combined to fund a scholarship year’s camp in Gainesville July 12-16. So far, we have a net profit of approximately $2200 from the crossword tournament, to provide support for 11 TGC campers. Please consider being a mentor, sending your own child or grandchild or providing a scholarship to the camp, or tell a friend about it. The cost for the week is $200. And we’re working on that second week, with a more in-depth focus on media literacy as campers document TGC activities with the video from week #1.
